In response to the increasing security concerns in schools across the Balkans and Europe, I'm developing SentryAI, custom-built computer vision system designed to detect firearms and cold weapons. The system integrates seamlessly with existing school CCTV infrastructure, operating discreetly in the background so students feel neither scanned nor uncomfortable. Powered by any device with at least 15TOPS of power, SentryAI processes video feeds entirely on-premise, ensuring complete data privacy with no cloud transmission. The AI model analyzes movement, pocket shapes, and objects in hand to assess potential risk levels dynamically. Built with a modular, custom architecture, the project prioritizes transparency and privacy. Once finalized, SentryAI will be fully open-sourced and released to the public for free to help secure educational environments worldwide.
